IEMAI 3D Printed CF ABS

Our high-flow ABS and premium high-modulus carbon fiber are used to create ABS+CF. This substance has fantastic surface polish, good dimensional stability, strength, and stiffness.Applications that benefit from the combination of improved rigidity and decreased weight include production tools, jigs, fixtures, and end effectors.

Layer height of 60% of nozzle diameter is ideal. We do not advise using carbon fiber grades for printing on layers thinner than 0.25mm. Less than 0.25mm may result in excessive back pressure at the hot end, poor feeding, jams, drive gear clicking, and eating a notch into the filament.

CF ABS – Max drying temperature of 80 c – drying time of 2-4 hours

Using a vacuum oven is obviously beneficial but not required. The filament may normally be heated in any oven to the appropriate temperature. Although there are many filament “dryers” available, you can dry the filament between uses with a toaster oven.

This filament for 3D printing is one of the most abrasive materials available. Standard brass nozzles may be chewed through far more quickly by users than by normal wear and tear. When worn through, the nozzle’s diameter will enlarge unevenly and the printer’s extrusion will be problematic.
