IEMAI 3D Printed PPS

A semi-crystalline, high-temperature thermoplastic polymer is PPS plastic. PPS is a very chemically resistant polymer with excellent mechanical strength, even at temperatures beyond 392°F, because to its structural makeup. PPS polymer offers low water absorption, high electrical characteristics, and strong dimensional stability. Even at high temperatures, PPS thermoplastic maintains a relatively stable chemical structure.

PPS plastics offer:

  • Possessing high purity qualities
  • High crystallinity
  • Good electrical insulation
  • Excellent resilience to high temperatures and great mechanical strength
  • High level of chemical resistance
  • Resilience to creep
  • Dimensional stability for large temperature and moisture variations

PPS is a corrosion- and chemical-resistant plastic that is frequently utilized in situations where it will be exposed to corrosive substances at high temperatures. PPS is resistant to steam and hot water and has excellent mechanical qualities.

PPS is utilized in gaskets, packings, electrical insulation, film capacitors, gasket fabrics for coal boilers, papermaking felts, and speciality membranes. PPS is a precursor to a conductive polymer belonging to the same family as semi-flexible rod polymers.
