IEMAI 3D Printed ABS ESD

As its name implies, we added protection against electrostatic discharge to our new material, which is based on ABS.

Applications for the ABS ESD include electrical products, automobiles, furniture, tools, packaging, electronics, and microelectronics.

Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene, or ABS ESD, is a non-carbon-filled anti-static material with good tensile and flexural strength and good impact resistance. It is also simple to process. The conductivity of ABS is improved to control the generation or conduction of static electricity by including particular conductive elements into the resin. These fillers could be non-carbon metals, carbon fibers, or carbon powder. The inclusion of fillers changes several characteristics of the original ABS material, but chemical resistance, strength, and manufactureability mostly stay the same.

Features:

  • Excellent Antistatic Effect – Products with good antistatic properties shouldn’t have contaminants, dust, or mites on them.
  • Rapid Antistatic Effect: The antistatic effect starts to take action right away after molding and lasts for a considerable amount of time.
  • Physical property stability – All grades have a wide range of applications, and no change is seen in their physical characteristics.
  • Excellent Secondary Processability – The secondary process can be used on both antistatic grades and general ABS grades.
  • Uniform Quality – Qualities such as physical properties and color are controlled by on-line automatic processes.

ABS ESD is a sophisticated ESD-Safe compound created for use in crucial applications that demand high levels of cleanliness and protection from electrostatic discharge (ESD). Compounds it in accordance with a patented formulation of multi-wall carbon nanotubes, which is produced with uniformity in mind.
