Medical PLA

Medical-grade PLA

Medical-grade PLA 3D printing material specially designed for rehabilitation braces/orthoses.

Biocompatibility

Medical-grade PLA 3D printing material has excellent biocompatibility. It has successfully passed ISO 10993 tests for skin sensitization, skin irritation, and in vitro cytotoxicity. It is non-cytotoxic and unlikely to cause sensitization or irritation, and can be safely used in medical products that come into contact with the human body.

Impact and Fold Resistance

The material also offers good mechanical toughness, with a Z-axis tensile strength of >25 MPa and a Z-axis impact strength of >20 kJ/m². Printed parts are drop-resistant and fold-resistant, greatly overcoming the brittleness of ordinary PLA. They are suitable for the fabrication of medical braces and other components.
